Sir Mikhail is a carnalis demon and like all of his kind has two main interests: food and sex. In his case, he prefers a little more food: if he can get paid with a few pounds of human flesh, a couple of crates of 1846 amontillado (or maybe a nice fresh soul), he prefers these to a night of passion. Unfortunately, the 1846 amontillado is not very often available and the people who summon Sir Mikhail for his services, obviously, prefer not to give him shreds of their own flesh, so they almost always pay him... er... in the second way.
